Xhosa, Gun Gordillo, 2017

Matylda Krzykowski is the curator of Room with Its Own Rules, an exhibition that opened at the Chamber gallery in New York in May 2017 with work produced by an all-female lineup of designers. Gun Gordillo’s glass and neon works, Xhosa and Taraxa, are loopy, faintly absurd semi-sexual objects, the outlines of empty organs pulsing with light.
