Queer.Archive.Work 3, Paul Soulellis, 2019
Queer archive work is a practice that can be done anywhere; it’s direct and non-forgiving. It’s work that states obvious truths by giving light to less obvious histories. Here is the work that must be done to gain a deeper understanding of history, and to achieve a just society (even if it’s just for a moment). Queering archives is an ongoing practice that requires work, a crucial practice that frequently hasn’t yet begun, but once started, will never end.
