The lucky ones will remember Matrix, the feminist design and architecture collective that was active during the 1980s and combined theory with practice through hands-on research in the field. They worked intensively with[in] communities via participatory methods, improved the built environment and women’s engagement in the building practices, and also provided technical support to communities.
